i am going to start working at a camp in north carolina in less than one month, i am excited to be able to work there because in my line of work (and my future major) experience is what really counts. however i am terrified that the same problems that occured the last time i was away from home like this may show up again. problems like getting home sick and keeping it bottled up. this is turely the big one because that one causes me to be ineffective in ministry and it makes me act like a jerk to my fellow staff members. i pray for maturity so that this does not occur this time. i am also scared of moving out on my own, i dont know where i will move to, i would like to stay near toccoa so that i could be near the mountains and my future school, but at the same time if i do that i will be leaving family behind and we dont keep in touch enough as it is. i dont know though, i think this time will be different, i will know this weekend how much is the same and how much is different. i hope it is different from smokey mountain resort ministries.

i got some fantastic news the other day! (though i wont say what on here) and my car is fine. so it looks like i will be climbing a mountain soon. yesterday i almost set the kitchen on fire with a test run of a new design in penny stoves… word to the wise, if you make a stove never use lamp oil as your fuel source. i am learning greek faster than i thought, lastnight i was sitting on the ground at the old frontier writing random words that mugambwa said in greek, i didnt realize i was doing it until i was half way through the third word and a root got in the way of my writing a sigma. mom is a totally new person, she got saved sunday and now she is not shy anymore, she is more trusting and she has done some major forgiving that i am not sure i could manage to do myself. last night after we left the old frontier we hung out at waffle house and counted out change to get some coffee and people watch. today i went to help mr. micky unload a u-haul but i was late so most of the work was done when i got there… i am listening to one of my favorite songs on pandora that i have not been able to find anywhere… it is called champion by kj-52.
well, i am in town now, but i have yet to make it home… it has almost been a week and i was only supposed to be gone for like 2 days
sometimes when I’m reading a particularly good book with lots of dialogue i will get up and walk around the house reading the dialogue outloud in different voices and making gestures and such.
i do it with movies too.Me too. =)
yep, im guilty, i have wanted to get a group together to do something like this, like an improvised play.
woke up this morning, found out i have a parking ticket on my broke down car…
mom is supposed to come today to pick me up, she hasnt called so i dont know what to do as far as meeting her, for all i know she is here now, but that is highly unlikely and the only place i could wait to see her would be outside in the rain. but i am learning biblical greek and finding out those technical loopholes that i am so good at sliping through, i just may have found a way to attend here, if not then i may have tied my own noose, but oh well, if that is the case augusta tech can help me to raise my gpa, it is cheap and i will only have to take a year.
